empowering humans by spreading kindness & encouraging self-love

at Honeymouth, we think it’s important to love what you carry with you — inside & out.

We empower each other to be better to ourselves and the world around us by creating sustainable products with heartfelt, encouraging reminders to always be kind.

To yourself, to strangers, to the world.

We developed Honeymouth because of our love for handmade things, and our passion to positively impact the world we live in.

We use Vegetable tanned leather.

Veg-tanning is an eco-friendly and biodegradable process that uses plant materials instead of chemicals.

As if that’s not enough, vegetable tanned leather only gets better with age,

just like you.

It’s important to us that we use our platform to do good for the world. We are able to donate to some incredible organizations thanks to your support of Honeymouth.

what is your design aesthetic for Honeymouth?

Minimal, refined, and always fun. I like the things I make to be able to dress down and dress up. I like practicality in form and function.

The bag you carry should stand out just like you. Timeless, and never boring.

OUR Maker

Georgia and Dozer, her number one fan and snuggle extraordinaire.
What is your current favorite song?

My favorite song changes based on the weather/my mood/what I’m doing, but anything and everything Willie Nelson makes my heart sing. Anything Old Country/Folk/Americana and I’m a happy gal.

Which living person do you most admire?

My mom. And my sister.

I’ve been so fortunate to grow up with two of the strongest, most fiercely independent, brave, bold, encouraging, kind, beautiful women inside and out. No hurdle is ever too big for them, no day is ever wasted, no hug or smile or uplifting sentiment is ever spared. They are the funniest, loviest, toughest, most supportive women I know. Also they’ve put up with me for 30 years and that’s an impressive feat.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

A crowded kitchen table, lots of laughter and conversation, yummy home-cooked food and plenty of wine, and my three furry babies snuggled up at my feet (probably waiting for me to sneak them scraps under the table).

When and where are you the happiest?

If you could take that crowded table and put it on a boat out at sea, that’s my happy place. Nothing but water and sky for days.

Who is your favorite artist?

Jean-Michel Basquiat. I love everything about him. Bold, eccentric, passionate, and an activist- a dreamy combination.

What is your greatest fear?

Heights. Put me anywhere near something tall and I can already feel my toes tingling and an immediate sense of losing consciousness.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Food. And shoes. And travel. Also formerly purses, but now I make those so I save a little bit there.

What do you most value in your friends?

Their willingness to be open and vulnerable. That they can always make me laugh and lift my spirits in almost any situation. That they love food as much as I do. That we are always each others number one fans and greatest cheerleaders. That no topic of conversation is ever taboo. That we can see each other’s hearts and always remind each other to love ourselves as much as we love each other. I’m really fortunate to have the best friends in all the world (though clearly I’m bias).

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Mostly sound effects. I tend to narrate everything I’m doing with some sort of sound. Usually a high pitched meep. Also “I love you”. It’s important to me that the people around me know how much I love them at all times. Because it’s a lot. And also “That’s so lovie!” Because I love everything that involves love and it’s physically impossible for me not to scream squeal how lovie something is every time I witness it.

What is your motto?

Every single day is a new opportunity. It’s never too late to reinvent yourself. Even on a Monday. Self-love is the most important gift you can give yourself. You catch more flies with honey. And A little bit of kindness goes a really long way.
